The EPA puts the recycling rate for steel cans at 70.9%, and a tin goes into the same stream as a food can.
It recycles without downcycling, so it comes back as steel rather than as something further down the chain. An Eco line is tinplate throughout, closure included, so there is no plastic liner to separate before it goes in, and magnetic separation lifts it out of mixed waste automatically. A tin also tends to outlast what came in it: people refill them, or keep them for something else entirely, which is the part no recycling rate measures. It can be specified on any format we make.

coated in tin.
Tinplate at 0.23 millimetres, in matte, gloss and metallic.
The steel gives the structure and the tin stops it corroding, a few hundred nanometres of it applied electrolytically. It takes a lithographed finish and recycles through collection streams that already exist. Every format is Pantone matched.

Tins are printed flat, then shaped.
The shaping stretches the print, so artwork drawn on a flat rectangle comes out distorted on a curved tin. Nobody can judge how much by looking at a screen. We work it out per size and hand your designer a template that already allows for it.
