Tin Tube

Yes. The tube is drawn in six heights, from 65 mm to 175 mm, and covering pre-roll lengths is the reason the format exists at all. Interior length is what decides it, so the check is made against a physical sample before a size goes on a specification.

Diameter is the constraint here rather than length. Every tube in the range is drawn to a Ø30 bore, so what changes between the six sizes is height and never width. A dogwalker and a full-gram king are not the same diameter either, so the cone you roll decides how many share that bore.

One specification is. The Airtight Eco tube adds a gasket seat to the cap, which is the build to ask about when terpene retention across a distribution cycle is the deciding factor. The standard tube uses the same nested dual-cap closure without that gasket. Both are certified to 16 CFR 1700.20.

Where the artwork sits. A plastic tube is moulded and then decorated, usually with a label or a shrink sleeve, so there is an edge that can lift. A tin tube is lithographed onto flat sheet before it is drawn, making the print part of the surface. Tinplate also recycles through existing steel streams.
